I hate what is going on in Washington, confirming that title.<\/p>\n
I hate that I was right seven years ago, when I first wrote that title.<\/p>\n
George W. Bush was still president, and he started vetoing bills for the first time.\u00a0 I recognized there was a growing, prevailing “death wish” in Washington for our country.\u00a0 There seemed to be more and more people in the government bent on destroying anything that made this country great—our spiritual foundation, moral integrity, accountability, financial responsibility, strength of character, strength in our military, action against evil, dependence on God.<\/p>\n
I wrote then that the last measure of restraint [Bush’s Presidency] against this death wish in Washington would soon be gone, and there would be the unbridled plunge to national suicide.<\/p>\n
Now we are living under the shadow, the dark cloud, the approaching midnight of that “death wish in Washington.”<\/p>\n

I believe it does little good to talk positive about solutions until more Americans realize the severity of this late hour.\u00a0 It seems everyone concerned rushes to obvious pat answers, but no one is willing to speak up and lead The Resistance.\u00a0 It will not be pretty when people in power react to anyone standing against them and threatening their death grip on America.<\/p>\n
When you are in a life or death struggle for freedom, it calls for more than election campaigning and voting.\u00a0 The longer we wait to wake up, the more lives will be lost in America, perhaps in vain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
