Can that include me?<\/p>\n

Is the question saying, “Is He able to . . .?”<\/p>\n
or, “Is He allowed to . . . ?”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Seems like a rerun of the issue in\u00a0 “WHO’S IN CHARGE HERE?” (10-18-12)<\/p>\n
Once again, if His Word is the final Word, and it is indeed, then we do well to search and heed it.<\/p>\n

“So I will restore to you the years that the<\/p>\n
Swarming locust has eaten,<\/p>\n
The crawling locust,<\/p>\n
The consuming locust,<\/p>\n
And the chewing locust,<\/p>\n
My great army which I sent among you.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And the often quoted passage that begins, “If My people . . . will . . . pray and . . . ”\u00a0 has a profound preface.\u00a0 Here is that verse in the context where God said it.<\/p>\n
Israel had just finished eight days of worship and feasting and praising God for the dedication of Solomon’s wonderful temple, and God was pleased. That night God appeared to Solomon and said,<\/p>\n
“I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.<\/p>\n
When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people,<\/p>\n
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”<\/p>\n

Yes, God Can.\u00a0 He did.\u00a0 He will again send plagues on His people to turn us back to Him.<\/p>\n
Are Christians supposed to be involved and make a difference in the culture?\u00a0 You better believe it.\u00a0 The survival and restoration of America depends on us.<\/p>\n
Do we have what it takes to turn our backs on the comforts of Sodom?<\/p>\n
Do we have faith to “suffer affliction with the people of God, rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season”?<\/p>\n
Are we ready to voluntarily sacrifice our financial security, to help others and follow Jesus unhindered.<\/p>\n
American Christians, we’ve got a way to go.\u00a0 We better get serious, and get started now.<\/p>\n
