COMMANDER – IN – CHIEF

Any Commander-In-Chief worthy of the title will emphatically resist any reduction in any aspect of U. S. military readiness.  He will throw all the weight of his office backing preparedness and superiority over our enemies—current and potential.  And he will passionately appeal to the patriotism of Americans, who will have it no other way.

Is there anything more critical in the office of President of the United States of America than Commander-In-Chief, or did I miss something in the Constitution?

I wish every American could read my passion, and pressure Washington to reverse course and reclaim our resolve and restrengthen our military.

NOVEMBER 6—MOST UNLIKELY SCENARIO

It is very unlikely that BHOB* and company will peacefully accept defeat in the November 6 election.

*Barack Hussein OBama—Say BHHHOB aloud and it sounds like the warning for Christians in the 2008 election: “Beware of sheep’s clothing.”

SABBATH AND THE OLYMPICS—REVISITED

Eric Liddel would not run on Sunday in the 1924 Olympics.

Three cheers for his stand and for his legacy in  “Chariots of Fire.

Shimon Perez, President of Israel, did not attend opening ceremonies of the current London Olympics because they would extend into the Sabbath, and there were no overnight accommodations within the designated walking distance.  Although he does not personally follow all Jewish religious practices, in his position he respectfully chose to not violate the rule of no travel in a vehicle on the Sabbath.

Three cheers for his stand and for Israel and for their legacy.
